like you hate your company, hate your current role, or want to do something different altogether like my guy _33?

I believe _33 was a teacher beforehand.  A lot of Mrs. Wacky's friends seem to be teachers that have discussed getting out of the industry. I always wanted to know how that process looks and how a interview would go from that. If you could provide any pro tips, I'd appreciate it.

if it's a decent sized company i would figure out what other roles you'd be interested in realistically based on your skills and qualifications, and let your boss/mentor/whoever know so they can try and get you other opportunities when they become available, or stretch opportunities to get involved in other projects in your current role.  if it's a company with other locations, and you're young/single/open to moving, maybe it's a good time to do that or at least consider it.

Get a job where people take you to lunch/dinner to beg for you to hire them.

I really enjoy vendors taking me to lunch. Had three of them this week.

vendor golf is too much of a time sink for me. hooch gives me freedom to run that bill up or jet depending on the vibe.

Every day that passes I start having more irrational 'office space' type thoughts. Sometimes I start laughing uncontrollably. Starting to alienate some old friends by saying disgruntled angry stuff. Then I laugh about it.

If you guys can ever find a way to work strictly remote, I strongly advise it. It’s been a blessing. No office politics, just put up numbers and peace out. Lib, I’m not sure what you do, but you seem good at it. Maybe start applying at companies where their corporate head quarters are not here and kick ass from home if possible.
