I think we need to reduce the number of seats by about 2,000. put in more loge/suites/boxes around the top.

I've been thinking about this. Recently watched a game in an arena that I thought could serve as a model (but can't remember which one it was). It had an upper deck that extended a few rows over the lower deck, kind of like the addition to the west side of the football stadium. Figure you'd have to replace the roof and rework concourses. Ain't going to happen soon.
