I went there for the Dunn/Roberson QB rotation bowl. It was a pretty awful place to watch football, all the seats point toward home plate so you are always tilted in your seat toward one corner of the field. Very strange.

Chase field is a pretty decent baseball stadium, except they almost never open the roof, which is a damn shame. It could use a little bit of updating though. Really strange for football - almost no room at the end of the fields and the temporary stands are gross.

I did see a KSU fan sucker punch a Cuse fan at the 01 Insight bowl though on the 2nd level. Guys head split open and bled like crazy and the KSU fan booked it out of the stadium.

Cactus Bowl vs Arizona State

Seems weird the Cactus would take ASU again, especially given how they've played this year. No one here is excited about the team or their future since the AD announced Graham would be back next year. Doubt they'd draw too well but I suppose it could be their only option.

it's that or Armed Forces. would probably need to win out to jump up to the Texas Bowl imo, being a 7 win team we would either be slotted for Liberty or Cactus, and if we are slotted for Liberty there is a better chance we would get dropped to the Cactus than Texas Bowl reaching for us.

The conference doesn't slot by placement anymore though. I would assume the Texas Bowl will either be us or TCU. I can't imagine anyone wanting Baylor.  Ideally TCU goes to the independent and we go to the Texas.

regardless of what bowl we go to, we're going to get very important 3 weeks of bowl practice.  so next year my expectations are going to be off the charts.  because of the bowl practice.

too many of these places shouldn't call themselves "projections" it should just be rephrased "here is were teams would go if no bowl deviated from the published 'order' based on the standings today"

All of our bowl affiliations suck and are boring. :frown: I'm over bowling in Texas and Arizona. Also, screw Memphis. That place sucks.
