And whoever thinks you don't need knees to throw up big weight has clearly never thrown up big weight.

Huh?

What part of that did you not understand?  I'm guessing it's the part about lifting weights, cause you seem like a fat guy.

Does it make you a bad person if you laughed at this?  :dunno:

Either get him a spotter or put on some collars.

It was meant as a joke.  I just couldn't find a pic of a guy with no legs benching a ton of weight.  Sorry for the confusion.

Aren't geyshirts enrolled half time?  And whoever thinks you don't need knees to throw up big weight has clearly never thrown up big weight.

I guess lots of guys who blow a knee can't bench press.

Visited KSU shortly after Snyder was rehired.  If I remember right, we were a finalist with GT.

the online roster is changing a little here and there.  Today Kyle Klein and Darnell Howard were both moved from DE to TE.  the walk-on this board discussed last spring, O'Ryan Wiley, now appears as a defensive back.

Like that move of Klein.  He is allegedly one of the fastest players on the team.  I've always wanted that James Hanna (OU) or Kyler Reed (NU) type of deep threat at TE.  I hope K. Klein presents something similar to those two.  Stretching the field vertically on offense is fun and exciting..yaaay (see Cats '97-'03)
Academics is a stupid word.

Academic schools are synonymous for being rich, powerful and exclusive, three things Kansas State is not.

So when people throw the word "academics" around, that's really what they are referencing.

There are reasons certain individuals are on the two and three deep and it has nothing to do with talent or being in the dog house. Sometimes playing a kid to be a little better this year is a waste of a year when the team can be even better next year when the player has more of the support he needs. There, I think that’s generic enough.

If you don't play someone who would make the team better you should be fired.

Every coach in Division 1 football should be fired, then.  Every coach redshirts at least one player who would make the team better in some capacity (special teams, rotational player for depth, etc.).  Also, how do you know that these redshirted players aren't making the team better by playing on the scout team all year?  The "play him no matter what if he makes the team better" ideology is a terribly flawed one.

You can redshirt a player even if you think it makes the team better as long as you don't think that player will give you another win.
