Guy on GPC noted that Klein is the only player in Snyder's career who was allowed to sit down with the coaches and co-author the offensive game plan week to week. Also, mentioned how Snyder thought Klein was more playbook knowledgeable than some of our coaches. Not saying he will automatically be a great coach -there are plenty more components to teaching than knowledge of the subject - but he is also nowhere near your run of the mill former player/GA.

Our GAs are often former players. The only reason this is getting press is because it's Klein. If they'd hired Klein as a position coach then I could see some concern, but as GA this isn't really a big deal at all.

Rusty is dead wrong.

Our current system is based on two key principles.  First, Blind obedience to Snyder's way, and Second, zero questioning of the first principle.

There is not one other human being on earth more qualified to be a GA or coach at KSU than CK.  Not one.



A better idea is to let CK coach under Snyder for the next 10 years (puts Snyder at the Bowden/Joe Pa retirement age), and let CK take over at 33 (his "Jesus" year).

Rusty, I agree with you for most positions, but I think QB is different. He'd have to have a much better grasp on the O than say, a defensive lineman would have on our D schemes, or a WR would have on our O, etc.
