One of the things I love to do is come to this thread and hate on the people who love to hate on every new uniform.

Loving every new uniform is equally as ignorant

Disliking new uniforms and disliking ugly uniforms are separate issues.

If kids think a new uniform is ugly, does that change your hipster view, or is it only if old people think they are ugly?

yes, if kids think a new uniform is ugly, it changes my opinion a bit. But at least a program that tries new uniforms every year and has an ugly one every now and then is trying. And I'd guess even the uniforms you think are "ugly" will lead to spikes in sales.
