I'm shocked he isn't dazzled by our Emmitt Smith knockoffs that are part of our sterling tradition.

Have already received a text message about this from a guy I know doesn't listen to the show. Best part is it came in the middle of Freemaw praise, triggering the odd rejection of Josh by some of our fanbase.

Using Freeman (versus Leinart) as an example of how playing with subpar vs elite talent in college can prepare a QB for the pros.

Obviously he didn't watch Jordy in the Super Bowl.

That was kind of his point. He also mentioned Jerry Rice, etc. Basically, he was spoon-feeding us our new "prepare you for the NFL" recruiting pitch.

Tough love from Cowherd could pay off.  Maybe he is sick of seeing Bill and co whiff on every decent QB recruit he targets so he is throwing out some well placed criticism about not becoming a pussy by going to a program that is good and stuff.

I'm confused as to how playing with bad talent will prepare you to play with elite talent at the NFL level.
