We called our shot when the entire basketball media/conference THREW A TEMPER TANTRUM for promoting Frank to head coach to keep our recruits and remaining staff. They knew we'd be good. Deep down. They just didnt' want to use that as the reason for their disdain for such a move.

I mean, in their best interest it was that Kstate should boot everyone and start fresh. I mean c'mon..Frank was just an assistant...

On the bitterness fanbase scale...this is easy..

Mizzou...then,
1. Nebraska
2. Iowa State
3. TTech
4. Baylor
5. Colorado

It could have been them.....it really could have. What if Huggins would have chosen Iowa State?

This is a bitter post calling out people for being bitter.  Why did Bookcat have to come to goEMAW?

Doug Bell weighs in.

Amazing that Martin is only 43 years old.

I have to be careful and not start thinking he could stay for a long time and make K-State fans forget all about names like Hartman, Winter, Gardner, etc.

Did you think we'd be entrenched in the Top 10 in year 3 of Martin's tenure?

Probably a lot of tards thought we'd be this good, because that's what tards do.

It's a good time to be a tard.  (Of the basketball variety anyway.)

Nailed it.  Mizzou is so bitter it consumes them.  It's all they think about.  When Mitchell fails to qualify it will send them over the edge.

I would flip/flop Baylor and CU at the bottom.  Or make them co-bitter top 5'ers.

Baylor fans are actually incredibly bitter.  I think its the pent up frustration.  But 100% of their bitterness is directed toward Austin and College Station.

No, the tards wanted Gregg Marshall.

No.  But that's not what I'm referring to.  We're better than I ever expected us to be.  I think we're good, but how good?  I dunno.  Maybe it's because over the past 15 years we've had one "good" team so it's hard to quantify or evaluate, atleast for me.

Sure they did.  But then a month passed by, Beasley and Walker were going to be here, and they were convinced we'd be in the Final 4 six of the next seven years.

Or did you mean on the day they were hired?  If so, then I'll agree with you.

qft.  I was all aboard the 'Hire Frank' train, but honestly expected him to produce nothing but mediocre results after Beasley/Walker.

you mean at the time of the hire?  i think a fair number of smart posters knew that he'd be a successful coach by around nov. of his 2nd year.

Yeah.

Even then, I didn't think it would be this good.

and none of them wanted Brad Underwood.

and he deserves ZERO credit for the success we are enjoying. NONE!

It is ridiculous.  We are 19 games over .500.  Its nuts.  This is the 6th week this year that we've been ranked in the Top 10, and the 4th straight week.  And we were barely getting votes in the preseason.

NOBODY thought we'd get to this point this year.
