Gary Amble joined KCTV5 in June 1994. Gary is the morning meteorologist on More In The Morning and KCTV5 News at Noon.

Prior to joining KCTV5, Gary spent time as the main weather anchor for WHO-TV, Des Moines; morning meteorologist, KFDA, Amarillo; weekend weathercaster KSNT, Topeka; and chief weathercaster, Cable 6, Lawrence.

He received his formal education at the University of Kansas in Lawrence and graduated in 1987 with a degree in atmospheric science. Before arriving at KU, Gary ran track at Allen County Community College and Pittsburg State University.

Gary has been awarded the seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society and is currently an AMS member. He notes one of the highlights of his career to be the flood of 1993 in Des Moines, when he worked nearly 22 hours straight on the air!

Michelle Bachmann is being outed as a blatant hypocrite or dumbass on the farm subsidy issue. Her statements don't coincide with her Congressional documents which showed that her family farm accepted hundreds of thousands in subsidies the last 15 years.

and.....she doesn't know where The Duke was born. That's more un-American than taking a free handout. Way more.

Well, not knowing where the Duke was born is fine...imo. But thinking he was born in your hometown your whole life, when it turns out to be this guy

Yeah, I'm sure she meant to say John Wayne Gacy, and has no idea they are two different people.

We'd be much better off with a guy that is completely bewildered as to the american economy, honors navy corpse men, thinks there are 57 states, and who doesn't even do interviews sua sponte, but who talks really nice when reading off of a teleprompter.

Way to go sheeple. Continue to let the media drag you down into the insignificant while the people of the country suffer under the senseless leadership of an overwhelmed child.

I know nothing about her, other than she's attractive for her age, has tons of foster kids, and supposedly did well at a primary debate.

That being the case, I am 100% certain she would do a better job running this country than the partisan whiny child who is currently tasked with that position.

I thought McCain Obama was a bullshit choice and chose neither. We'll just have to wait and see in 2012.
