Pounded some light domestic lager with a bro and fished the kaw tonight (longest amount of sunlight of any day). Caught a couple flathead on worms and blue gill chunks.

Nothing wrong with that. Fishing can be a dirty business, as long as you don't wear your fishing togs to work the next day.

When I have to walk through brush I always wear an old long sleeve button up to keep ticks off. Not really dressed up.

so white when younger then darker when older? weird. also, son caught a black catfish at pot2 last year. 50 years? sixty?

How big? if it was only a couple pounds could have been a bullhead,but I'm not sure they have them in pott2. Bullheads are getting hard to find because channel cat and largemouth bass eat the crap out of them when they are hatchlings and schooled up

man. it's hard to guess how many pounds that thing was. my guess is two-three pounds? much bigger than the pale white thing pictured earlier. two maybe? idk. it was black though. like oh wow he just caught a black catfish and that thing is black.

count the rays on its anal fin 24-29 channel cat 30-36 blue cat.Sometimes post spawn male channel cats kind of look like blue cats,their heads get puffed up for some reason.But the anal fin rays never lie

Catfish really gross me out. Those dogfish things that look sorta like snakes are grody as well.  Gives me shivers.

I cant count the rays as I threw it back. Im a catch and release guy and I do it just like Mr. Wade. Holding them in the water til they swim on their own.

Ugh, Turtles totally ruin cat fishing.


One of my fishing holes down here is overran with soft shelled turtles.

They are so unbelievable fast. Like scary fast. On both land and water.

These turtles are super scary looking, when I catch them I just cut the line so I don't have to deal with them.
