Best concert on Palladia
« on: May 18, 2011, 11:31:56 PM »
What should I be recording?  I have a good surround, and once NHL & NBA are over I gotta watch something late weeknights.

it's ok.

there's not many, you'll see them all within about a month.
some of the better ones (to me) are- foo fighters, the killers, lily allen, depeche mode, oscar springsteen, duran duran, and oasis...

they had a u2 concert, similar to the U2 360 dvd, that aired a couple years ago but they don't show it anymore.

my favorite is the storytellers series

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I like any of the festival highlights. Usually at least a couple good bands. Seeing bands play in front of 100,000 people is pretty crazy. The other night they had Down and Faith No More in England.

This might be the first thing we've ever agreed on.

Be on the lookout for Radiohead, Live at the 10 Spot from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.  Taken from the tour the summer OK Computer was released, it is one of the best live shows ever captured.  I know Palladia has aired it a couple times.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

Hey, here's an idea, go see something live instead of.....?  Watching concerts on t.v. on the weekends.... wtf?  At least you're getting boozed up though???  Yeah, I get it, Fleetwood Mac won't come here again anytime soon right??... Jfc..
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I watch recorded concerts on tv/blu-ray all the time.  Especially when there isn't crap on tv- like on Saturday afternoon.  Good to drink a few beers and maybe do some work around the house to.
