Depends on what is needed to make said prototype.  I would download a Non-Disclosure Agreement and start fishing for help/advice from people who work in a related field.

Shark Tank is fantastic, who is your fav shark?  They always ask the people if they have a patent so that might be a good place to start even before building a prototype.

i'll have to google how to get a patent.  i assume that you need some sort of prototype/drawings or something to get one.  starting to sound like too much work already. 

i'm asking for 50k + 10% royalty for life in exchange for the idea.

If it involves water, it's much more complicated than you would think. You have to take pressure into account, so you can't just scale it down at a 1:1 level.

I actually did.  I think he was either too busy or interested in working with someone who had more than just an idea that would be able to help program it.  Few emails, then nothing.  Seemed really busy.  He didn't even hear the idea.

I have another idea on a person to contact for this and am working on getting in touch with them this week. 

Would love to get some more  out of this.
