Also word is they aren’t going to build this new big building of the streetcar doesn’t pass in streetcar court or whatever. I can’t even imagine who thinks it’s a good idea to build a new giant building in a places like Omaha (or really most places) and especially right now.
Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Man, save your money Mutual of Omaha, keep the old buildings / work from home and either invest the rest or give us new Wild animal kingdom content or whatever.
It makes no sense at all

also, fun story (rumor?) about the FNB tower pictured behind this one looking pud: it was made to the tallness it is to one up some building in des moines that was apparently taller. in your face des moines building.

i had always heard this in relation to kc also. FNB tower is 21 feet taller than One Kansas City Place and 4 feet taller than 801 Grand (Des Moines)

lol, Omaha puds, downtown Des Moines is so sexy

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Omaha is doing a $1b expansion of the airport which seems excessive given that it's Omaha. Also I'm terrified of what flying out of there is going to be like while they do it

Ate at Brother Sebastian’s last night. Enjoyed the crap out of it. I think if I’m ever exiled from Kansas I will move to eastern Nebraska.

can't remember what they were called. Think it was Valley, NE. Map said 264th street. They were decent newish fields just out in the middle of nowhere. Just basically a giant parking lot and baseball fields, with a crap ton of porta potties. Very weird.
