Isn't there a streetcar being announced today too?

For a very long part of my young life I assumed “Mutual of Omaha” was like a zoo or something, because my family watched the Wild Animal Kingdom show like rough ridin' religiously. We would formally gather to watch that show every week.  It was a big rough ridin' deal with my folks.

I should have mentioned that it was called “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Animal Kingdom,” for you non-gen X kids who read this blog.

Looks like using KC's funding method of charging property tax assessment for those close to it along with the normal federal grant stuff I'm sure.

Also when did they change their logo to resemble the MGM Grand logo and who told them that was a great idea

Another fun fact: the Texas Capitol was deliberately designed to be slightly taller than the U.S. Capitol.

Also word is they aren’t going to build this new big building of the streetcar doesn’t pass in streetcar court or whatever. I can’t even imagine who thinks it’s a good idea to build a new giant building in a places like Omaha (or really most places) and especially right now.

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. Man, save your money Mutual of Omaha, keep the old buildings / work from home and either invest the rest or give us new Wild animal kingdom content or whatever.

Omaha's got the biggest dong from Chicago to Denver and Minneapolis to Oklahoma City.  (used to be Dallas until OKC built the Devon Center)
