On McD's nominees; yes they are fairly common.  IIRC, Joe Leonard was a McD nominee.

Yes, really.

Flock has a thread on their board discussing whether Sprads is "ku worthy" or not.

Kid can absolutely shoot.  The Martin-Greenawalt meat-grinder will either turn him into an asset or send him to the Valley.  I'm guessing it's the former, hence the flock saying he wouldn't be a good fit there ... which of course indicts Self's talent development even further.

they seem to hold the view that he is much smaller than morningstar.  including posters that seem to have seen him play.  is his rivals height a complete fabrication?  he is listed as considerably shorter on espn and scout.

he's not as tall at Morningstar is, but then again he's not 25 yrs old like Morningstar is either

I wonder if he is a virulent racist like people have said of Brady Morningstar?

i've stood next to young William and I would say that he's between 6'1" and 6'2" with shoes on.  IDK how tall morningstar is.

morningstar is listed at 6'3".  rivals lists spradling at 6'3" too.  sucks that he's smaller.

Hawktards are  :runaway: over Sprads wondering why KU didn't look at him.  They have a nice 3 page thread talking about him.  They are  :ohno:

if he is done growing he'll prob just be like Ty Lawson or Sherron Collins or something similar

If he is a Brady Morningstar'esque shooter and provides the same level of D in a slightly shorter package I'll be happy as sh1t.  Frank will probably force him to transfer though given the shooting and whatnot.

i don't think he'll have to wait to his senior year though to grab nationwide headlines with his amazing shooting in clutch situations.

Wondered why Nino Williams was not in box last night in loss to Olathe East - it turns out he turned ankle in first 30 seconds. XRays today.

might want to reconsider the spradling-williams friday pak.

That's a hell of an interesting box score and bullshit story considering Nino scored 24 and was in 2 of the 3 pictures from the game taken by the Olathe Daily news.

http://www.theolathenews.com/103/story/344726.html

Lots of action for him apparenlty in that first 30 seconds.   :jerk:

Talked to a friend of mine who played Spearville this week. Willie Cauley ('12 'cruit) who we have offered is on that team. Said he had 16 and 16 and gets most of his points off of o-boards but has a nice mid-range game too.

Bear in mind he goes to a 2A school playing other 2A schools.  :flush:

steve dave used to dominate that 2A school on that 2A court when he played for another better smelling 2A school an hour up stream.

Missed it.  SMS upset Leavenworth. Haven't seen a box score.
