ironing is the worst.  Hotels should have someone that will come to your room and iron your crap for a minimal fee and fat tip.

I'm really good at ironing and actually don't mind it. I'm super organized when travelling though. I will put stuff in drawers in the order that I'm going to wear it and I immediately iron all my shirts/pants when I arrive and hang them with my jackets. I then take the bag they leave to have your clothes cleaned and start putting dirtly clothes in it in my suitcase.

Holy crap, you guys are talking about shirts just when I need it.

Q: can I iron a wrinkled "no iron" shirt?  Will it catch fire?

Anyone ever tried airbnb.com? Seems pretty legit if you don't have the hotel points or if you have a big group.

My colleague does this all the time.  Once we got a nice little flat in Copenhagen, just a short walk from the "downtown" area, for less than the corporate type hotels, none of which are even close to the downtown area because it's like a thousand years old.  Obviously work was covering it so money wasn't an issue but being able to party was important to us.  I make fun of him for using it but it's actually pretty nice if you're comfortable dealing with uncertainty.  He just went to Dallas and did it and this nice lady even let him borrow her car.

Like we stay at the Radisson Scandics usually when we can.  There's one in Aarhus, too.

St. Louis for 2 days.  Of past 30 workdays, 25 in a hotel.  All of next week in Chicago.

I think I am nearing that threshold where I start to dislike it.  When traveling, I usually go to nice dinner, pak, go to a pro sporting event, etc.  Last night I worked out then sat in my room, watched Bachelor.   :frown:

when I have a long string of work travel it wears me out. usually I see a different person/group each day and they want to go party that night. it's fine for them because it's just one day that week. it's every day of this work trip for me you nuts!

Place was called Jamaican Flavor.
Spicy jerk with Jamaican rice and peas and plantains. Spicy levels were great, just on the edge of my abilities. Chicken was tender but not quite as moist as I would prefer. Rice was just would you'd want/expect. Plantains were perfect and delicious.
7.5/10

Bonus of Jamaicans everywhere and owner's car parked outside with license plate = FLAVA

I iron 1 thing then drop off everything at front desk by 8 the next morning. Next 4 days are done. Marriott in Minneapolis is super great and will have everything pressed and back by 8 am if you get it in by 10pm the night before.
