Going to Kauai for 12 nights in one week. Have 5+ baseball games before then but seeing that light at the end of the tunnel for the season.

Not surprising given the hometown inhabitants, but DFW has to have the highest lb/passenger ratio in the world. Maybe some podunk airport in Alabama or wherever can pretend to be the king but the shear volume of DFW is not to be trifled with.

I thought about that and concluded that the kids probably weigh reasonably close to a normal adult male.

DFW way worse. Also DFW has to be the worst domestic airport by far. Just a horrific experience.

yeah, I've had multiple short layovers that required more than walking. also such a low ceiling dogshit layout. everyone just eating in the walkway because nowhere to go. oh, you don't want to walk/run? go up the escelator 140 yards away and take the tram that will be there in 8 minutes to then go down the escelator and then go another 140 yards?

Good news folks the maintenance is done but we need a new pilot, he'll be landing in about 30 minutes and then needs to make his way through customs. That will probably be an additional 40 minutes.

I know this crap happens all the time but airline staffing issues REALLY grind my gears.

Imagine ordering a meal and paying for it and then they don't have a chef right now but one is on the way from the next state over, it's going to be 2.5 hours and no you can't get a refund, leave, or eat anything else.
