Anyways, trip insurance if you have any doubts about refundability.  It won't save your vacation but may save $$, particularly if you think it'll be hard to reschedule with some of these places likely to only offer a credit.

the negative consequence from catching covid before vacation is you don't get a vacation.

You guys have exhausted this subject to death for the past two years. If you can't figure it out for yourself by now, you shouldn't be traveling.  We've even had coronabros on this blog get it while they've traveled internationally and had to extend their stay. Godspeed, everyone!

afaik, there aren't any airlines that have testing reqs.  they are required to enforce reqs of the countries they fly to.
