i'm wanting to take a road trip memorial weekend with lady meow meow just to get out of the house and see something different, maybe get an airbnb somewhere secluded or something, anyone done this recently?  Is airbnb even taking reservations right now or has rona shut them down?  Anyone have any good recommedos if this is possible, maybe something within a 5-6 hr range of KC.
I follow someone on Instagram who appears to be staying in Airbnbs all over California and Oregon since like early April. Kinda annoying.

But yeah I'm sure you could find something.

Man Airbnb was on top of the world to start the year and are in tatters now.  I’m sure they will survive but they are going to have quite an up hill battle to get back to where they were.

thinking about doing South Dakota but it's further than 6 hours.  I hate naturey trips but this summer it might be the only option.

We go to NW Arkansas a lot because we meet my brother there who lives in Louisiana. Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, and Devils Den are all great spots. :th_twocents: Bella Vista too. Great golf/lake situations there.

Booked Hawaii flights and crap for november with URs.  Hoping the quarantine stuff ends by then.  Everything refundable.

Roundtrip tickets for ~400 bucks

Wowzers. I was looking at those. I booked 4 of us to go to Universal Studios for their Halloween stuff and one of the people going is the biggest Harry Potter fan ever and hasn't been to Harry Potter World. The Halloween stuff looks very neat!

Aruba or Barbados for a month remote working? Aruba seemed more expensive but outside of any hurricane zone.

Yes but probably going to wait to book one till I actually get in country with how fast allowing us dirty US citizens in changes.

Also looking at st Marteen. They were going to let us in July 1 and change that on that day. Now it's tentatively August 1st for them.

Considering this as well. They weren't on the initial list I saw that was allowing Americans.

Still not sure how it will play in the office.
