Just go to Lockhart and call it a day. Enjoy the 85 mph speed limit on highway 30 on the way.

Lockhart is good to try out a few places in one area.  There are a handful in Austin as good or better than Franklin's with much shorter waits. Louie Mueller in Taylor is good.   There are also some really good newer places that have popped up recently.

Not that it would preclude the tour, but Snow’s will ship barbecue in maybe 10-20 lb packages at a price that is basically the same or less per pound as going out to eat at most places. I did that last year, and it was awesome.

Weather blows, but ate at a really cool Irish Reataurant called Rosie’s on Time Square with my team. I got to walk through all of it on my way back to the hotel. Pretty badass. I’ll probably go exploring by myself tomorrow.

This place was so cool. Been wanting to go there for a long time. Saw Arty (looks god awful), Dave Attell, and others... like Chris Gethard. We had to wait on standby to get in and we were literally the last two they let come in. We had to ziplock our phones away when we got in so we couldn’t take any pics. After Dave went, some chick named Jessica Kirson followed and she bombed big time. She said she got too high. So we eventually got up and left and she heckled the eff out of us in front of everyone. I told her she wasn’t worth being tired over and had to work in the morning and everyone laughed. She said something back and the room roared, but never heard what her comeback was. Good times!
