We had to take a bus to the bird at CDG on a 320.

Lets play travel agent.  Where should the wife and I go in Spetember/October for 5-6 days?

1.  Must be someplace AA flies.
2.  Must be continental North America or Central America.

DC would also be fun to spend a bunch of time in.  Really take in all the monuments and smithsonian and all that crap.

speaking of prescott touchdown, you should go to starkville and watch the #ICEKleimer tame the bulldogs

Mexico City

I'd been thinking about this.    Have you been?  Tell me more.    I'm a little leery of the altitude adjustment for a short trip.

haven't been but it's really the only place (along with Tokyo) that I haven't been that I really want to visit. Heard great things. I think the altitude will be fine as long as you aren't running a marathon or something.

I did not detect any odor or aroma from the encounter. I did meet Bob Dole on that same trip and his hands were kind of balmy when we shook hands.

We waited until kids were 12 and 16. Was a good age. Not too whiny about all the walking. Could understand most of the historical significance.

Also, 4th of July fireworks over Washington Monument was awesome.

That sounds like an amazing thing to do when you're retired and don't know what to do with yourself. Plus, those museums are all free, so you don't even need to defer any present day fun into retirement savings in order to do it.

DC is so much smaller than I could have ever imagined. I was only there for a day, but I really enjoyed it. Get a drink at the top of the W and watch the snipers/security guys on top of the white house roof rotating the whole time in like Navy Seal black type of crap.
