Just finished a weekend in cancun.  Stayed at Finest Playa Mujeres resort in the Excellence Club.  By far the nicest hotel I have ever been in.  I felt bad for being there for the first day, it was so over the top extravagant.  It was ridic nice and relaxing.  85 deg and on the beach sat and Sunday all day.

So I'll be in London in January for work and I have 36 hours to kill. I want to take the train to either Paris, Brussels, or Amsterdam and I can't decide which, please help.
I didn't like Paris, as it was too much for me.  I liked Brussells but was just there a few hours.  Have never been to Amsterdam, but enjoyed the part of the Netherlands that I did visit.

Is staying in London not an option?

I'll be in London plenty outside of these 36 hours and I've been there lots.

Where did you go, Rotterdam? Tell me about where you went in the Netherlands and more about Brussels. I feel like Amsterdam would be fine if I either went with my wife or if I was single. I've been to Paris before but I was 15 years old.

I did go to Rotterdam. It is the hometown of a high school friend.  I would have been interested in Amsterdam, but didn't have time for that. I was traveling alone for the time I was in Brussells.  I had no idea what to do or where to go.  Did some wandering around, but couldn't tell you any place specific.  Everyone I ran into treated me fairly and kindly.  This was a few years ago.

Sometimes they don't, it's just not a topic you want to talk about. You know what I do when a thread is aiming towards a direction that doesn't interest me? I GTFO and let ppl party. I probably won't go back to the qatz football board till next year. It's clearly a mess. It's ok, Mocat, we can only try to get better, day by day!

I still don't even understand why they are calling it metal....they want to make sure people know they are not flying on a composite aircraft?

When I was in the termy D bathroom every single stall was full of stinky dumpers and at least one of them was also smoking. Classic international.
