Leaving this weekend to go to Cancun for long memorial day weekend.  Staying at Hyatt Zilara all-inclusive.

Any tips?  Tanks in advance.

I liked to do breakfast and lunch at the outdoor restaurant. I think I got the fish of the day every day. Helps to not binge on buffets. I didn't have any desire to leave the hotel and there's really not much else to tell you. I think you will have a lovely time.

We'll stay in Memphis on the way, and eat BBQ and go see the zoo (they have Pandas, which is apparently rare). I want to go to that BBQ place that has the "slap your momma" saying, and maybe see those ducks march in a hotel.

In addition to BBQ, you should definitely make some time for Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. It is absolutely worth the trip.

1000+ reviews on Yelp, 4.5+ average.

Flying BOS -> SAN in a couple weeks on JetBlue. Never flown JetBlue before, but have it heard it's very good.

Any insidery info on JB?

Anyone have TSA precheck? Is it awesome?
Yes.  Yes.  Although the awesomeness will vary based on where you fly.  I whiz by the long line of lowly commoners at my home base with shoes on and laptop/liquids in my bag.  Where I normally fly to there are never lines and often no precheck lane, so no benefit.

Here's a funny thing....When I went to do the precheck sign up, the lady asked me my height and typed it in and then she said "And you can enter your weight"....Like they think that people are going to be so sensitive about their weight that they let you type it in yourself but not your height.

TSA Precheck is super awesome, although it feels shitty to be really excited about not spending half an hour in security, not taking my shoes off, and not taking my laptop out of the bag.  It's like being treated like a real person!

It's kind of shitty that you have to pay money to be treated like a non-criminal type person.
