I'd rather not be mocked

why would you be mocked for spending a lot of money?  something smells?

He complained about the food, said he didn't order a gratuity and then split the bill 5 ways with the rest of his group, who just split an app.  'Clams final bill was $16.33

plates are pretty big, that steak was $175 and was 42 oz, so definitely shareable.  they charcoal grill it.  i'd plan on ~$150 per head.  it's only 10 tables and gaining a lot press so plan in advance.

What should I do by myself in Chicago today? Arriving at Midway at 10:30, need to be in Streeterville by roughly 5:30. Can't binge (much).

Maybe meet up with your GF over lunch and make out with her?

Dunno if you guyz have made it that far yet but Lauren let me make out with her last week so you should totally use that to peer pressure your girl into playing some tonsil hockey.

So, is Priceline a joke or what?  Every bid I put in gets rejected and I get a counter offer to change my dates for a 2% discount.  I'm trying to book a flight to Manchester, UK in almost 4 months. I've offered $1K per ticket for two tickets only to have William Shatner point and laugh at me.

Thanks, I'll check that out.  I was hoping if I didn't get a great price on Priceline I could fly United because that's where I have all my miles but the cheapest for them right now is $1300.

slo is great

so I spend the weekend in SLO/Pismo Beach. SLO is definitely nicer than Pismo, but has a more generic college-town feel. Pismo is like a 1960's surf town. Montana de Oro State Park is great. Ate in Morro Bay, also great. I've heard Cayucos is nice, didn't go. Hearst Castle is farther north. Really you can't go wrong on a drive up Hwy 1.

i stayed in the slo area all the time for work over the last two years.  slo is initially pretty, but got very old, very fast.  kinda dislike it now.  morro is my favorite place to stay in the area.

Ice fishing is big up here (Wisconsin), but I've never gone.

Funny story, it seems like all winter long there's a story each week about an ice-fisherman's truck falling through the ice.

So, a tip from the uninitiated, don't park your car on the ice! (I think people use them to pull their shanties (sp?) out there)
I'm in it purely for the entertainment value.
