Y'all are gE'ing about NYNY right? When they had an ESPN Zone there it was aight, even though I saw K-State get absolutely bombed by Syracuse in the insight bowl there, but NY Experience?

Have either of you been there before and after they built T-Mobile Arena? I'd imagine they have upgraded since that arena was built? :dunno:

They have the worst book and overall don't like the feel of the place but I had a big win so all is forgiven.

I can't imagine staying there

I stayed there like 15 years ago and it was surprisingly great then. Of course, my standards 15 years ago are a lot different than they are now.

NYNY was fine for a guys trip years ago for me but not a place that I would take my wife to.  Pool is surprisingly nice IIRC

heading to jackson hole on tuesday for a TLB vision quest with my wife. guided tour of yellowstone.  doing the tetons on our own.  and going to a rodeo yeehaw! dipping out of work at about 3 or so on tuesday and going to try to make it to cheyenne.

flights were stupid expensive so driving it is.  actually kind of looking forward to the driving part.

I made this drive in June.

I recommend leaving the park through the east entrance (through cody) so you have a more scenic ride home. You go through shoshoni national park then drive back through the Wind River canyon south of Thermopolis which is amazing.

I like the NYNY rollercoaster.

That thing feels super dangerous.

Then I wouldn't recommend the rides on their space needle thing. I like the NYNY rollercoaster because you can get on it in five minutes.

Are you referring to The Stratosphere? I can't believe in all the years that thing's been open, at least 25 years, they're never had anyone hurt or killed. Some lady even got hurt at the roller coaster at Circus Circus. Well when they do inevitably do have someone fall and die a very violent death, it will absolutely be the end of the strat.

If the stratosphere just collapsed today I would not be surprised. Thing is terrifying based solely on visible lack of maintenance/upkeep.

Highly recommend the starlite bar on the 66th floor of resorts world. Reasonable drinks and great atmosphere. Even has a small outdoor space.

Santa Fe things to do? I am going for a wedding. I think the Georgia O'Keefe museum is booked and I also want to do Meow Wolf and maybe some ruins or something?

The opera seems pretty cool if they have a show playing. Just walking around downtown and popping in and out of shops is a lot of fun if you like art.

are you saying someone is going to fall out of the roller coaster, or the roller coaster is going to fall off the building?

if nothing there appeals to you then, no, you are not missing out. anyone else have any extremely hard questions they are mulling over that I can be of assistance with?

I was in Vegas for like 24 hours just to see the spectacle. No other reason. Worth it.

Yes. The strat is crap and they have a roller coaster that juts out over the Las Vegas Strip from literally 1000 feet in the air. That's eventually not going to end well. Props to the strat for having a shitty hotel for 25 years but running the safest amusement park in America.

Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Valley of Fire SP are all fun.  Vegas is a convenient place to stay to see them.

Yellowstone is insane.  Best thing in the US, imo.

Hiking around the Tetons tomorrow.
