Mrs SF did not agree that we should abandon our KC lives. I completely disagree and think we would be very happy Hanalei townies. Now in line on the highway where they apparently let the lines go every half hour or so. I already have to pee. Will update pee status as needed.

Update to Stupid Fitz’s goEMAW recommended Kauai adventure. I’ve done everything you guys have told me. Hyatt is A+, Puka dogs were amaze, Hanalei was an awesome town and I’d go back if it wasn’t for the extra couple hours due to the landslide thingy. Captain Andy’s tour was great and the whole family enjoyed. This was a big one as my at least one of my kids hates what we are doing at all times. My daughter sort of hated parts of it because it is a long day but she gives no fucks and went down and took like and hour nap while people were looking at the dumb things the tour people were pointing out. I honestly got a bid bored with it too (yeah, that’s another cave, BFD), but at peak boredom they started feeding me beers so that helped. Pro tip to add on to the pro tip I got from SD. Do the morning one. It got pretty rough on the way back and I was loling at the people lining up to board for the afternoon trip. They are going to get the crap beat out of them. Still haven’t had great food yet but it’s been ok. One of the boat dudes wrote down a bunch of stuff for me so I’m excited to try some of his places. Prob going to chill the next few days.

Thanks to all, especially SD for the Kauai pro tips.

Sorry Willie, I have low Tapatalk IQ

Update update. I don’t remember what I paid for the fun boat thingy, but I want to pay again to go back tomorrow and smack that boat townie son of a bitch that recommended the worst Mexican place I’ve ever been. :angry

Kids that complain about anything on their Kauai trip can get mumped

IMHO

Glad you're having a good time!

Completely agree Rusty. I’ve told my kids that many times the past few days. I was a poor growing up and HI may as well been another planet.

Wife and I made a pact never to take our kids to the beach ever again because all they wanted was the pool

Any of you crazy kids driven through Bella Vista, Arkansas? Beautiful golf courses and in the Boston Mountains? My uncle has a lake house down there for the next month and we're going to visit this Saturday through Wednesday. It's gonna be wild, guys!

We are going to the beach later this month. Kids are all v excited

Does anyone have recommendations for good barbecue places in Memphis? Doesn't have to be The Best, just a good place where you can go and say that you've had the Memphis bbq experience.

Leg 1 complete, Boulder is a little too hot but the mountain air makes 77 feel reasonable.  We are in a flash flood watch so no hiking but we are going to find a park, currently at the hotel pool. Not too bad!

Yes. I lived there during middle school and still have family there. Enjoy the golf. Fireworks in Bentonville are done well.

So that place is named “Wise Guys Pizza,” not what I would think based on the tweet.

I may hit that on the way back, going the northern route adds a 1/2 hour, and I’m already leaving late.

Take the extra 15 min and Go to Quincy, they have better food. Cassanos pizza is good pub style, or Coach’s which is an absolute trip.  My father in law is from there and it is like the town was frozen in 1980’s.
