Renewed global entry today.  Filling out the list of countries visited in the past 5 years pumped me up!

I can't imagine global entry will exist in the same way moving forward. At least I hope it won't

the part where there's no one screening you in any way. I would expect some sort of medical screening will be added.

Wonder if the kiosks could be modified to do a temp check?  I'm sure they could but not sure how reliable that would be.

yeah I guess you already answer questions

you know everyone will lie though. I think they need human screening in some way. Of course not like anyone will be traveling while this is needed anyway so whatevs.

I don't know of anyone who's been denied and I think your typical global travel bro is very much a "rules don't apply to me because I'm very important" guy which could lead to problems if you're tying to stop disease.

Regardless, I hope it changes until there's a vaccine at least

When he sold just enough to get below the reporting, that should’ve been obvious.

Glad to hear my boy is out there setting up some gainzz for me.

So when we can start traveling again are prices going to be down because of people not having money or are prices going to go up due to pent up demand?

I told hamburglar this via text. He doesn't need to be stepping out on gE to get the same very smart answer but glad you agree SD.

That said I did get good deal in Vegas this fall.

I don't think there's necessarily going to be pent up demand but the supply will be way way down and who knows what sort of protocols will be in place. It's just going to be less efficient no matter what and therefore more expensive.

I imagine at some point leisure travel will be cheap on the rebound through some form of government incentives but maybe not.

I won't have any demand for leisure plane travel for a while.  Walking/riding/driving to an open operation will be exciting for a while.

Yeah this is why I don't think it will be cheap. Demand won't increase with drop in price so hotels and airlines will keep prices high to cash in on those who have to travel and the leisure travel that does venture out.

Sandals Barbados officially cancelled for September. Hoping for a Florida road trip then. I miss the beach.

I keep starting to plan a trip forgetting about the shutdowns. Every time I go longer before I remember.

Keeping our reservations at Gulf Shores for July.  It’s a private beach so I think it will be ok.

i'm wanting to take a road trip memorial weekend with lady meow meow just to get out of the house and see something different, maybe get an airbnb somewhere secluded or something, anyone done this recently?  Is airbnb even taking reservations right now or has rona shut them down?  Anyone have any good recommedos if this is possible, maybe something within a 5-6 hr range of KC.
