Not gonna lie, never thought I'd see the day where a KU fan would be openly positive about an incoming transfer from Loyola Marymount.

Meh... this guy should at least add some solid depth.  Keith Langford's cousin, Justin Wesley (6'8 PF transfer from Lamar), is playing surprisingly well in scrimmages.  The current team just beat the alumni team (with Gooden, Aldrich, Pollard, Reed, Morningstar, etc) 70-58 the other day.  For some reason everyone will be surprised when Robinson, Johnson, and Releford step up their games to another level next year, and KU wins another Big 12 title, along with 30 games.  You'd think after seven straight Big 12 titles people would finally "get it" at some point, but no.

No, but I do think Ben McLemore was a top priority for the KU coaching staff.  Tharpe was probably plan C or D after KU missed out on Turner and Rivers.  The big guys are projects, but they could end up developing nicely down the road under the guidance of Danny Manning.  The Morris twins were plan C or D recruits that kind of fell into KU's lap (after decommitting from Memphis) and they turned out to be pretty good.  Only time will tell.

only extremely stupid people don't have ku as the favorite next year.  there is a bigger talent/experience differential between ku & the rest of the league than since 2008.


that has nothing to do with lolling at the scrubs & empty 'ships filling out the ku bench.

Some guys are listed as 7-footers, but they're actually closer to 6'10.  Withey is a legit 7-footer.
