Aggieville update: Mexican restaurant called Azul MHK going in Wabash, Kathouse to go back to being a dance club now called Tate's, ACS will be an event space and an AJ's will be opening in Aggie Station's space.

this all sounds pretty not great.

Always thought Kathouse was super out of place.  Had no idea Wabash closed, but can't say I'm surprised.

Happy for AJ's.  I think it's great, but it's aggieville location space was a bit funky.  Last time I was there I saw someone hop over the bar (no one was tending -- it was after hours) and steal a bottle of liquor and run out the door.  None of the workers even noticed.  It was shocking to me.

Heard a chain restaurant of some kind might go into the old Big Poppi space.

I liked that RBs.

I got slapped in the face by a woman who was high on meth while I was eating lunch at that Arby's one time. A lot of fond memories there.

:surprised: I used to live in the apartment complex across from Arby's on bluemont. Also it may have been a few years since they cleaned out their jamocha shake machine, the last couple of jamocha shakes I got from there tasted like mold.

Guys I need to tell u something that a lot of you aren't going to like, MHK has basically transformed itself into a smaller version of Topeka.  Chain restaurants for days and nearly every job is state/government sourced.  It's a pretty gross combination.

The last straw was when MHK outsourced Puni to Japan.  That's when I knew it was over.
