Look, the dork needed to go. He's a huge Russ fanboy and has been a bitch ever since Russ left. He worked 2 days a week, we'll be fine.

What is the timeline on Pepperjax Grill.

Also in a Junction City update:  I am going to try Muson Prime today.  It is a new steak house in Junction that uses Munson's Premium Angus steaks locally grown.

Excited to try it.

godspeed, KK. thats exciting, I hadn't aware they had opened. JC restaurants are as a rule just enourmous clusterfucks when they first open (and then they die).

My understanding is you pick the steak you want out of the cooler and they cook it for you to order with family style midwestern sides.

we get munson steaks for holidays and special occasions and stuff.

how long are they dry aging these "munson" steaks?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I will try to find out tomorrow.

Their hours are super weird.  Also, they apparently do ice cream and the offices for the ship-to-order frozen steaks and meats are out of the same building.  Not sure.  Will investigate tomorrow or Friday.

i've not heard of this munson meat.  to say that i'm a bit suspicious of it is an understatement. musnon.  what kind of meat is called munson?
give me a fresh perfectly cut angus steak from an american company like wal-mart any day of the week over this munson stuff.

Munson and Hildebrand are too old respectable farm families.  Bramlages run the rest of the town.  There is your Kansas royalty lesson for the day kids.  Tune in next week for the Vaniers and the Hays House people of the Grove.

can't be bad, I think Taco Bell ages their meat about the same and it's pretty great

Wikipedia tells me dry aging takes 15-28 days, so this is somewhat of a concern.
