Guys, I want to talk about something that has been weighing on my mind for awhile now... and that something is Hillside Cafe. How has this place been open for as long as I can remember? Who goes to this place? Seriously. I've never met a single soul that has eaten there. Is this some secret that I just don't know about? What am I missing? I must know.

I ate there like 3 years ago and we were the only people there the entire time. The service was awful and my food was terrible. I’m on SD side that it’s like all the Mattress Hub stores and is a drop off drug front operation.

My roommate in college loved it. But i never went to eat there with him.
He wasn't into drugs....that i know of

He's a real estate agent for farming properties in western Kansas. Since it's mostly just land and no houses to worry about, he can still work from Manhattan and just travel out there every once in a while.

His partner was the owner of AJ's. They are still keeping it open. They reopened yesterday actually.

It really is astounding that this place is still around. I went there once like 15 years ago. Forgot it was even a place. Can only assume it’s just Stag Hill weirdos and maybe Briggs employees keeping it alive?

I want to point out I did take out from the outside window, was the only one wearing a mask in the transaction, and ate it in my car. What perfect timing tho to fill my Lucha need right before it closed
