As much as I hate the word “hoodie”, I think midwesterner thrive in hoodie/shorts season. It’s also the start of crockpot & casserole season. Plus fall decorating & PTA/school sports socializing start back up hard & tailgating.  By the end of summer we’re tired of the heat & we can finally get back out there so were happy. It’s the prime time of 75% of midwestern stereotypes.

Breakfast CFS is my favorite CFS.  "The Big Biscuit" has decent one around here.  I do miss a good dinner CFS from Texas Star, however.

i was about to a few weeks ago, but cube steak was more expensive than ribeye and i had a conniption.
its supposed to be cheap right? can i just get any old steak and bash it?

I always use tenderized round steak for my CFS.  That's about the cheapest cut you can get.  Also make sure it's not cut real thick.  About 3/4" works best for CFS.
