Fulham are safe again, see you all next season.  Hopefully with Berbatov

No offense fun muffin, but is there a more boring team to watch in the Premier League these days than Fulham?

Stoke City

They're tied.

thanks for the kind works friend.  haha but i know what you mean.  i will always have a soft spot for fulham.  my first season following them they had Kasey Kellar, Brian McBride, Carlos Bocanegra, and Clint Dempsey.  This was in 07/08.  On the final day of that season they started in the relegation zone, but beat portsmouth to stay up with a goal in the last 15 minutes.  It cemented me as a Fulham fan for life.

this was the goal that kept them up

Figured it had something to do with them having all those Americans.

JoeHallsTutor and other Tottenham fans:

Do you think Bale will move if you don't qualify for the Champions League? Do you think he moves even if you do? Where do you think he'll will move to? Real Madrid?

Also, do you think you'll try to get Modric back? I've heard rumblings of that. Seems like a Real Madrid bust, and he was a total stud at White Hart Lane.

I believe Bale stays whether they make Champions or not unless there is offer from Real that they cant refuse.  He loves the EPL and loves the Spurs.  Still have three years on his contract.  Modric I'm not sure about due to burning bridges when he left.  He quit on the team like a little pansy, and just like most that go play for Real and Barcelona he has sat on the bench watching world class players play.

That's the thing. I thought he was a world class player. He definitely was at Tottenham. Okay, wasn't aware of any bridges being burned.

And I think I'm with you on Bale. I kinda feel like if he was going to leave, he would have already. But on the other hand, he's a top five player in the world... Top five players in the world don't play for Tottenham Hotspur. (No offense). They play for Real Madrid, Barcelona, etc...

Levy wasn't going to get bullied with the asking price from Real so Modric decided not to show up to practice and force a move away.  Modric shows moments of being top class but can disappear rather easily as well, i.e. Thomas Rosicky.  At Real and Barcelona if you aren't always in form you are replaceable with a snap of the fingers.

Bale only loves Spurs until a team offers world class money. He would jump to Arsenal or Chelsea or any rival if they offer enough money.

Modric might disappear and get replaced at Madrid, but Bale sure as hell wouldn't. He's for real.

Since when did Arsenal get involved with spending money on world class players.  I disagree with you.  I believe he lasts one more year to get champions league then goes on to bigger better things.  Levy will not sell him to a Premier league team if he doesn't have to.  With the likes of PSG and Real Madrid in the chase, he wont have to.

Yep. Walcott did the same thing against Manchester United... But QPR is horrible, already relegated, etc... They don't have the heart to keep Arsenal from possibly putting up 5 or 6 on them.

Wish FSC showed more championship. I actually hope and would watch if they pick up lower division English leagues or Scotish league contracts when the EPL moves exclusively to NBC family.

That's an incredible idea.  I have relatives in Watford, hope they win the playoff to get promoted.

QPR look lively today.  Why Tottenham loaned Townsend out just to see Lennon go down with injury the week later is beyond me.

Orlando's stadium bill didn't make it through the house. So that all but confirms it will be NY2 to the surprise of no one.

According to Robb, it's in his contract that if he were to return, he would retire a Sporting Kansas City player. :D :D

:dubious:

Our problem is not the defense despite the last game. We have the best back four in the league. If you want to replace a defending player, replace Uri. He's not winning balls the way Roger did. We miss him. And don't you dare bring up the game in LA. The Galaxy are the best team in the league by far. Losing in Los Angeles against their crazy awesome counter attack is nothing to be ashamed of. We have had one very disappointing result and that's Portland.

Not sure if you guys remember or not, but we're basically seeing the exact same thing we did last season. Played great first 7 or so games of the season, went on a two-game road trip, won the first (Vancouver last year, New York this year), lost the second (Portland last year, LA this year), and came home and lost (Montreal last year, Portland this year).

Basically, gtfoomf with this complaining about our backline.

I realize we gave up 3 goals last game, but we haven't been scoring crap all season. (or last season for that matter). We need Kei. Teal won't hurt either. :fatty:

Scoring goals is our issue. Peter will fix the leaks that gave up the goals recently. That's what he does better than anything.
