wolves had plenty of chances, should have had a pk in added time, deserved a result and looked better than i thought they would

That was hard to watch from a United perspective. Harsh result for Wolves who had great energy and team spirit in defence while looking dangerous going forward. United's midfield had a really bad day and looked leggy. Sancho changed the game when he came on.

Wolves create tons of opportunities but expend a tremendous amount of energy and never score, same as last year. I don’t see them keeping this up as it is extremely frustrating to watch and I can’t imagine how they can keep up the same spirit for much longer without any goals.

On the other hand, I like their coach because they game planned perfectly for Brighton. They press high on goal kicks, being patient, not jumping and forcing the keeper to play the ball past the defense and then winning a bunch of balls high up the pitch. They did have some scary moments with the space behind and Mitoma ran through them once but you can’t chase Brighton with the ball all day and Wolves made it difficult for Brighton.

Spurs look good, but Man U looks old and slow.

When Bruno Fernandes looks “energetic” compared to Casameiro, your midfield is slow.

Antony is a complete joke.

Greenwood finally out at United. They only got it right after initial backlash online last week when it looked like they wanted to reintegrate him into the squad. If he wasn't a £100 million player he would've been tossed out months ago. Glad it's finally over.

I'm impressed with the new manager as well. Life after Kane off to a good start.

United's midfield has been woeful - the balance is completely off and I'm starting to question the Mount signing. They will probably add another reinforcement to support Casemiro before the window closes.

I'll wait to listen to the Talk of the Devils podcast but I tend to believe Richard Arnold's open letter over anything reported on in the media, particularly the notoriously cap filled British national media.

Ange is so likeable.  4 points out of those first 2 matches, with no goals from the front line, i'd have taken 2 after Kane left.  enjoyable to watch also, which was much need after Conte ball

Very tasty three points today.

More of a struggle than I would have liked, but coming out of Selhurst Park with a win is always a success, especially when you are down to 10 men.

I was referring to the talking point that they were going to bring him back until they got backlash. When it was first reported, last week, that he was set to come back the club immediately released a statement that said the decision was not made to bring him back. I think it's possible that they floated the idea publicly to see what the reaction would be, but I do believe that they never decided to make the move. I also believe that ETH was in favor of bringing him back.

Rangers eek out a draw with PSV in champions league.  About to get smashed away next week.

Fulham are going to be a punching bag all season.

I'm losing hope.  The Cats have to be good this year because this year looks rough for me soccerwise.

Def not happy with that from the spurs perspective, buuuut, I think they have the horses the way they are playing to win the damn EPL (obv a bit of reach, but they are actually playing damn inspired football)

Love big Ange. He was great at Celtic.

Former Tottenham boy Doherty back at Wolves and the boy is scoring goals. Maybe wolves can turn things around?

I really am sick of City now. As if they don’t have enough advantages, Pep has unsettled Nunes who is signed through 2027 at Wolves. Probably enough time to replace him for wolves if he goes which would be a disaster.
