That's one trophy down, I think we get at least one more this season.

Unbelievable! If Arsenal win the title, mark this game down!

Meh, get the shitty performance out of the way in a match that doesn't really mean anything.

Very tasty Champions League draw today. Chelsea-Real Madrid rematch, Bayern-Man C in the Pep derby, and those winners will meet in the semifinals. Three Italian teams on the other side of the bracket and Napoli will be licking their lips now.

More importantly, Man United get a Sevilla rematch in Europa with a potential Juvenus semifinal matchup on deck.  :excited:

I thought that was a bit harsh but I guess Palace haven't won yet in 2023 and have been sucked into the crowded relegation fight. I wonder where he'll land next.

true but they also played really tough teams in 2023 and had Zaha out for like half of those games and only play like 2 games against teams in front of them the rest of the way.

They needed another midfielder and a striker and would be easily safe but that's also probably what every team from mid-table to relegation thinks. Honestly if they'd just gotten Gallagher for another loan they'd be golden

lol, Fullham with an all time meltdown, getting 3 red cards while up 1-0 is an amazing lack of pose. Mitrovic about to get a 10 game ban what a dip crap

If anyone cared about Fullham and Mitrovic he would be pilloried forever. This was the first red card, pretty obvious right?

Leads to him having this meltdown

I was thinking about you, fun muffin, when I saw that. I'd love to know what was going through your mind as that was happening.

I love Mitro.  He's always been a bit of a prick.  But he's our prick.  I'm more frustrated with Willian missing the initial clearance.  We were so close.

I wasn't able to watch live so my emotions were tempered.  I just knew that they had lost.  Didn't even know about the redcards till i pulled up the highlights.

Still a great season.  We gave MANU all they could handle from the looks of it.

Fullham were in control of the match before that sequence. They weren't pushing the issue but we just couldn't unlock the defense up get decent chances. What's wild about what Mitrovic did is that even with the red card and the made penalty, there is reason to believe that Fullham forcing extra time and maybe even pens was a fairly decent possibility.

That's legit lazy and pathetic. Do they not feel like they're battling relegation? Even though they are in 12th they are definitely in a battle to stay up. What a wildly uninspiring hire.

They think he's a relegation avoidance wizard or something, last year with Watford not withstanding. It's kind of funny on their boards because a lot of folks wanted Vieira out but when it actually happened it was like "oh eff, now what" and are mostly pissed now. They're saying it's just temporary until the end of the year when they can do a proper search but it doesn't look like a club with much of a vision.

Palace's April schedule is wild... they play six of the other teams in the relegation battle. I feel like Vieira deserved a chance at the first few of those games at least.

My theory is Palace fired him now because they thought that stretch could save his job and wanted him gone regardless
