Streaming services are getting ridiculous. I have NBCSN and Peakcock TV for EPL. I don't have ESPN+ so I don't see domestic tourneys. I subscribed at some point to CBS Sports to see CL and now they want me to subscribe to Paramount to see today's match.

Your CBS Sports All Access login will work for Paramount+. I added CBS (Paramount) because of the CONCACAF matches. I will not Pay for Peacock, NBC is wrong for that bait and switch, I'll just keep stealing EPL matches that aren't on television, it's ridiculous what NBC did and I won't support it.

One the bright side, Peacock is not much more than NBCSN Gold was and it least has other programming.

I wish I’d known my CBS sign on would have worked on Paramount. It would have been nice to watch Liverpool win for a change.

No. It's a bully move to ensure that UEFA votes for the Swiss Model for the Champions League on Monday. I wouldn't even be surprised if they're trying to coax even more money and power out of the initially agreed upon Swiss Model concept. Either way, don't worry about the super league. The Swiss Model will suck though. Liverpool would likely jump West Ham if the Swiss Model was a thing this year. The domestic competitions in England are also going to be hurt as the big 6 teams will field u23 teams, especially in the Carabao Cup and early stages of the FA Cup.

UEFA will not let any European based players play in any super league that will take money from UEFA and the Champions League. The clubs no this too. The league won't happen.

it's kind of amazing this is happening right now. i've completely ignored European soccer in my life up until last week when i started to research it because i got sucked into playing Fifa a couple weeks ago. it's been kind of fascinating learning the structure all of the leagues, specifically English leagues, and more specifics on the topic of promotion/relegation. seems like this super league would be a bad thing.

In theory the super league will have no effect on the domestic leagues. The leagues would have no interest in sanctioning the most powerful and richest teams in the leagues. This is all on UEFA and possibly FIFA to fix it.

Update. I just read an article from The Athletic saying that the premier league already has a rule in place stating that in order to compete in the premier league the team must be in good standing with FIFA, UEFA, & The FA. So yes, these six teams would not be able to compete in the EPL. The article also mentions that this might also invalidate all of the player contracts.
