Chelsea lost 1-2 to west ham. United beat city 1-0. No idea who won any other games. I think the draw for the next round is soon.

how bad was it?

Wasn't bad just fluky a.f. The Ander Herrera "red card" was a perfect symbol as to how fluky that match was, it really wasn't anyone's fault.

It's not even fun seeing United fail anymore :frown:

Chelsea fans still cucking this dude is one of life's greatest mysteries. How many more clubs will he have to eff up before Chelsea fans realize that it's his fault.

Jose won 3 league titles, an FA Cup, 3 league cups, brought in some great players, ushered us into this successful era. I think Chelsea fans realize last year's collapse was due to him losing the locker room, but that doesn't change everything he did for the club the first time around and him winning the league again in runaway fashion in 2014-15 and beating Spurs in a cup final the same year. So if you really think that is one of life's greatest mysteries I really question you, but you're just doing this over the top thing which I get. No doubt last year when it happened tons of fans myself included were mad about it but you wouldn't be able to find a single Chelsea fan who would prefer him over Conte.

Right, I'm completely aware of his past accomplishments, although as I said last year, you don't give Roman the credit he deserves. As I also said last year and before this season started, and you and my bestie who lives in England and is a Chelsea fan both pushed back on, is that Jose making everything about Jose puts so much pressure on his teams. You compound that with the fact that he never accepts responsibility when things go wrong. When you manage Chelsea or Manchester United behaving the way that he does cannot work. It cannot always be about Jose when you run a locker room full of great talent. He should go and manage somewhere like Everton, the big squads need someone to manage chemistry, he ain't that.

Yes last year while emerged in that I did push back. I don't dispute that, and I won't speak for your bestie who lives in England but removed from Jose 2.0 I don't disagree with what you're saying, and amongst the Chelsea twitter and podcasts I listen to nobody else would, but as I said when inside of last season with a manager it gave so much it was hard to see it with clear lenses.

My guy in England last year was like "this wouldn't happen if Roman gave him the guys he wanted," this year he's like "this wouldn't be happening if he got the guys he wanted and not Mkhitaryan." WTF am I missing, if this squad doesn't have enough talent then who the hell does?

This city game is crazy. Could have 5 goals. Chance after chance. Barca getting some good looks too.

Well, both Jose and Conte had requested funds and wanted to go out on some big time purchases. We literally didn't get a first team player after we won the championship, and this offseason we just bought Michey, Alonso, Luiz, and Konte. While Konte was an elite signing, Alonso and Luiz were panic buys at the end of the window because the board wouldn't pay for the elite WB, and CB Conte wanted.

All that being said: Jose was doomed to implode, and Conte is elite.

Admittedly, I don't do a good job of keeping track of pud teams with less than 23 points after 10 games.  Who is the manager at Chelsea these days? Ryan Giggs?
