So what Fitz is telling us is:

A.  KSU will be in the Big XII next year

or

B.  KSU will be somewhere other than the Big XII next year
Actually, if any of that information is true (doubtful) then it is a pretty nice piece of journalism.

Fitz just posted a new, free "article".  I put that in quotations because its more op-ed.  It starts out with a disclaimer, "I'm a small guy covering KSU...", but it never actually turns into an article.  Its just 15 paragraphs of him bitching about how other journalists are throwing out every scenario under the sun.  The guy is literally bitching about college sports journalism to cover the fact that he has provided nothing of value to KSU fans in during conference armageddon.  I understand his rant, and actually agree with him, but he still hasn't done a damn thing related to his job regarding the issue.

It's interesting how his sick and tiredness of covering a story directly parallels his inability to acquire and write actual, substantive information.

Texas Christian University coach Gary Patterson has been hired as Kansas State's 34th football coach, multiple sources have confirmed to GoPowercat.com.  Patterson replaces Ron Prince, who was fired Wednesday. - Tim Fitzgerald   Nov, 7, 2008

The nerve of his fellow writers to throw a story out there without having it be factual all in the name of being "first".

A lot of people don't know this, but it was actually a meeting many, many years ago with _FAN, Marky Mark and slimz at Bluestem that led to the movie "Fear" coming to be.

<ProTip> For those who've been wondering, that was one of the earlier chapters in the back story that is behind the various Wahlberg/EMAW references here.

To be fair, he had already been using those terms for a long time but just hadn't publicly posted them yet.

Bought my second vehicle from K-Statecars.com...awesome experience

It is really a cool program. Just bought my second vehicle from Briggs through KStatecars.com. The 200 Ahearn points (100 per car) allowed me to make a significant improvement in my season ticket location. That is basically the equivalent of donating $6,700 cash to Ahearn.

Briggs came down in price, and was a few hundred dollars cheaper than what I was able to find at any of the Olathe dealerships. For me, it is well worth my time to drive from KC to Topeka or Manhattan to purchase a car from a dealership that donates $millions to K-State.

I was looking to buy a new Honda. Briggs does not yet have a Honda dealership, so he ran it through a Topeka Honda dealership, but still awarded me the point credit.

No, I am not a Briggs employee or family member. I just really buy in to this program, and would highly recommend it if you are looking at a new vehicle.

So, if I want to buy a car, any car, I should tell Briggs and he will run it through the dealer of my choice AND give me 100 pts?  How the hell does that work?  Did the AD just give him like a gazillion pts to hand out as he pleases?
