Love that Doris asked Rick Carlisle how they have been able to keep the Heat from going on runs after the Heat ended the 3rd on an 8-1 run. She is awful.

Dirk overcoming a 102 degree fever to get 21 points and 11 boards reminds me of Jordan. What a competitor.

Meanwhile LeBron's like, "Nah, it's okay Wade. Why don't you just take care of it?"

You have to go back to the first game to see when LeBron wasn't completely outshined by Wade, and even in that game Wade had more rebounds and assists than LeBron.

lebron's ws/48 is the best in the league and in the playoffs.  he's as close as you can get to Jordan.  not really comparable at all to Pippen.  we could conclude that James is the best team player in the game and is easily the most important player in the game since Jordan.

comparables:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/w/wadedw01.html
http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/pippesc01.html

i didn't fall into that media trap when it was set last offseason.  but i can understand how some might have fallen into it and are blinded by the hate

The Mav's really are not great.  Can't believe Miami blew that.

This. Probably grossly unfair, but the Mavs winning would just make the think the finals/league sucked this year. At least the games are close.  :dunno:

In a rare instance I will admit I misspoke.  Lebron is arguably the best player in the league.  I got too caught up with his performance in the Chicago series. He is still better than most here give him credit for however.

He's easily the most talented to ever play the game. That said, he crumbles too easily when it's a big time situation. His game has too large of a swing, from completely outstanding to almost non-existent. When he figures out how to narrow that down, he'll be great(er). I think it's just a matter of maturing for him.

Lebron passed the ball too much in the 4th quarter.  I saw a couple of times he could have taken it to the rack and instead he dished it off for someone to turn it over.

Yeah, Wade and James have swapped roles in this series. Lebron took (and made) almost every big shot in the Chicago series and even against the Celtics. Seems stupid to now defer to Wade in the Finals simply because he has a championship. He needs to be just as aggressive as he was in the last two series.

I'm totally okay with him deferring some to Wade just because Dallas doesn't have anybody that can guard Wade. But that Game 4 performance was terrible.

Went to Tubby's to watch the game. DOB, JamSam, Irving, and Southwell were there. They were all cheering for their teams, and laughing at the other players when said player's teams would make a mistake. DOB standing up with his arms raised every time Dallas hit a 3 was the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
