Seemed like too many higher ranked teams did well this week.  Hopefully this and the Nova game will help even things out so we can get a spot or two.  At this point though, I'd almost rather the pack of teams behind us keep losing then those in front.  Solidifying a 2 seed is a lot more likely than a distant dream at a 1.

No way we get the 1.  Purdue has a really weak remaining schedule.  They'll glide into the last #1 seed.  I am just hoping that we can work our way up to #5 overall (at least in the minds of the selection committee) and be the 2 in Purdue's bracket.

Remember...we play uk at least once more before selection Sunday.  Big opportunities there.  Maybe even texas, too.

cuse plays nova next Saturday
purdue plays mich st next Sunday
duke goes to Maryland, who will be fighting for their spot in the Dance


If we win out in the regular season, I think the uk win will vault us past duke.  Purdue and cuse aren't many votes ahead of them.  If the chips fall right, maybe a big jump is in order.
