KSU Telathon
« on: February 21, 2010, 06:31:16 PM »
KSU Telathon just called me asking for a donation.I donated $7.60 in honor of the pathetic 760K frank is making this year. Made her put in the "Comments" section that I would have donated more if Frank had a new contract.

yeah, because Telefund has everything to do with the AD or administration.   Congrats, you made a complete fool of yourself and even gave them your real name.

Hit them from all channels bra. Next time the telathon people speak with ADJC the convo will go something like this

"Well hello john currie"

"Well hello telathon people! How is the fundraising going?"

"Its going alright, except for this one ass hole who only donated $7.60. He said it was in honor of how much HCFM was making this year"

"Hmmm, well If my calculations are correct you can assume a boost in Telathon fundraising by at least $7.40 next year(winks)"

I mean they could have had gotten as much as say $10.30 - $10.50.  So that'll make 'em think.

I made my donation tonight as well, but afterwards I was wondering to myself if I should have cut it in half and donated the other portion to the Ahearn Fund.  We're not talking big bucks here, but I care more about KSU athletics than the college of business.

I'm making sure that all my telefund donation money is going towards a new practice facility ball return machine.

Those things are awesome.

That always goes through my mind anytime I'm about to donate to something.  Luckily Ahearn always wins.

These kids did come to the door and pressure me out of $5 for Haiti the other day though.  Sorry K-State

In his defense, I did tell my kids that the money they were collecting was going to Haiti, but I ended up spending it on a new KSU hoodie instead.
