Yea, I can agree that it may be a sign of dated gender bias but I too make the leap that it is affecting some girl's self perception oh herself or an underlying thought in some businessman's decision in what to pay her is too big a leap.

I think you're a good guy and really not too much of a sexist.

But if you were having a debate with a black guy about whether or not racial discrimination is what leads to the low number african-american coaches, would you come on the board and make a joke like: "...then I tipped him for shining my shoes." I don't think so because you're not a racist either.

My best friend happens to be black, my best man at my wedding, and both of us insane cat fans. We use to be 25-30 single and in Manhattan. In our single days, our humor included having corny super hero names...We refered and still refer to these times as "The adventures of Black Man and Reflecto(I'm bald)." I am fairly good sized 6'3" 230-240 and was in really good shape then and out of my jeep would yell rediculous things like "kill whitey" ....again large bald white male yelling "kill whitey". All this was funnier, like most things when you are there. There was a time when my black friend asked me to do several things and in my best plantation voice I would ask him..."you'se wants me to gets the luggage." WE laughed so hard & long over that one ....and we would use it and replay it on each other all the time....We both agreed on many issues shared about world at large and we used humor even at ourselves to give the wrongs less power. This is very powerful...

By the way my wife is pretty much my boss and very solid in her feminism and value....she says women that have a problem with this(EMAW) have never really had serious problems...."and way to much time on their hands" refering to Beth.

The way some women today claim to be linked to sister suffrogate should be ashamed...they clearly miss the point of the movement and take it out of context because they really haven't lived it like the women of those times. They shouldn't act like they have, it spits in the face of the women who did fight and had to endure real struggle. Not that EMAW made their feelers hurt...real women don't get hurt that easy. Just like real black men are strong and real folicle-y challenged men like myself can live in your hairy world and take your bald jabs...

Ethnic humor at K-State is a much better class then the women's studies programs at KSU. I think with what we have seen over time at KSU demonstrates we may need new leadership in women's studies. I am sure there are some great programs to emulate across the country....I am just sure KSU doesn't have one. Yes have taken class, no was not that guy who always argued with 50 women.

I'm sorry. This site and supporting ANYTHING fitz is against is getting brutally annoying. Beth's argument is pure garbage, and everyone knows it. Her argument is straight out of a New York Times blog, one entry on EMAW at kstatesports.com that no one reads, and is completely void of the true meaning of EMAW and why we've loved the slogan for the last six years.

The fact she is still beating this drum shows how much of a whore she is (just like fitz)

There are plenty of people that do good for EMAW, that don't whore themselves out. This sh*t is just disgusting. Kstaters are not whores. We are good people that do good for the community, not for ourselves.
