Based (almost) exlusively on my love for competitors who despise losing more than they enjoy winning:

1. Jacob Pullen - questioned his heart earlier this year but I was dead wrong...my favorite of all time
2. Michael Bishop - makes me chuckle to imagine him running out of bounds to avoid contact
3. Darren Sproles - little guy big heart
4. Denis Clemente - still love thinking of him screaming at Curt from the floor to suck it up and get back on the floor
5. David Hoskins - not much around him but worked his ass off
6. ?????

I'm sad thinking of how long it will be to see someone like Jake in a cat uniform again.

Heard an interview with some brain guy last week on NPR. Science has proven that we all experience the pain of losing much more than the joy of winning.

I have a soft spot for Freems as he made what might of been some pretty terrible football teams watchable and I will get to enjoy him in the NFL for years to come. DT is little the same way.

The bottom group really isn't in a particular order. Basketball is a much more personal sports than football. Football players are covered with pads and helmets and it creates a separation between fans and players, basketball doesn't have that separation.

That's very interesting. I would suggest that some people hate losing less/more than others. Pretty much anyone that enjoys gambling doesn't hate to lose very much. I use this example because I have to be wasted to actually enjoy throwing dice....my buddy on the other hand can't wait to get back to the tables.

They're 2 different concepts. Think about it. If I came up to you and said "I'll flip this coin. If it's heads, I'll give you $5, if it's tails, you give me $5." No one would agree to this deal, because the 50% chance of losing is not worth the 50% chance of winning. With gambling, it's more about being addicted because you think you're due to win at any second, because at anytime it is possible that you may win a large payout.
