Well, I didn't see this coming, but it comes from the EXACT SAME rationale that I shared with you about the attractiveness of the OU offer....namely close to family, and in a stable conference situation.

Brian Gates, of GoPowercat fame is now reporting that there are Arkansas people who believe that they will make a SERIOUS run at Bill Self.  His wife has family in the area, and the SEC is buoyed by football (read: stable).  I had assumed the "Family and Stability" angle would be OU, but this makes even MORE sense than OU.

Wow.  Could get interesting....

Of all the coaches we have been talking about, I can see Self doing the "Pig Souwie(SP)" squeal much more naturally than any other candidate.
