Horns UP

Rooting HARD for Crany's boys right now.  I'd prefer to have Texas be a "marquee" win for us, and not a poop also-ran that they are looking like lately.

jordan hamilton is hilarious to watch.  he plays bball the way 95 would if 95 enjoyed shooting, gambling on defense and touching the ball as much as getting to the rim.

Ya, both goal accomplished if Horns win....preserves the quality win, and gives us a shot at CU.

Catzacker and I were talking about this today.  He speculated that 95 is like a crack addict, but for the rim instead of rock cocaine.  I agreed.

Plus I appreciate the JYC way Texas is winning. 50% OR%, 40% FTR, 50% FT%.

On that topic, at what level would you set your (our) expectations for the KSU cats in each category for next week?

At this point I just want us to be "what we are". So a) get to our averages and b) outplay our opponent in 3 of the 4 categories.

So eFG% of 50% or better, TO% at 22% or less, OR% of 39% or better, and FTR of 44% or better.

During our last 9 games we've been at 52.5%, 19.5%, 36.1%, and 46.1% in the four factors respectively. And we've averaged outperforming our opponents in every category.

Formula is simple really, but big has been eFG% up and TO% down.
