Like I really don't know what it would take to get a foul called on one of our dribblers

Three flagrants in this game -- two on us. They really need to change the rule. You can't put those decisions in bullshit crews like we have in the Big 12.

They were correct calls by the book. The book is pussified tho.

That game went exactly as expected

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Nine turnovers at half. I see no chance that'll end as long as Tang is like, yeah but we can win with turnovers if we do the other things.

Don't worry. The key is to just love 'em up. I'm sure it'll be a different story after half.
Thank you for this Phog gem.  One of the dumber things to have gotten under the Phog’s collective skin that I can remember is Tang’s love for his players.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

We will get them in the OOD. That's win #6.  WVU at home should be #7.  If someone finds win # 8 let me know.

Our game plan is to reserve effort by only playing the last 6 minutes of most games.   Will keep us fresh for March.
It’s like our boys know that I only tune in for the last 10 minutes of games anyway.

There are no guaranteed wins but also no guaranteed losses except maybe at Kansas and Texas but also I don't watch non-ksu games so who knows.

It's just a really hard conference and I don't think anyone can circle guaranteed wins in a hard conference

Perry should just drive to the basket during the first half. Either get a lay up, get fouled, or kick it out to Kaluma or Ames. Stop chuckin' 3's in the first half.

Perry attempted 3 threes in the first half. He's undersized and BYU was physical on the drives and the refs were letting them play

None of that matters if we can't control our turnovers. Our TO rate is the single biggest problem this team has.

We have too many leaks.

TO’s have to be focused on if we aren’t going to score more.

Yea TO's have to be dropped and FT rate has to be increased.  Not sure how to accomplish that with the skill level of the current team but maybe Tang has some magic sauce to do it.

We don’t have the line up to increase FT, imo.

Earlier this year, in a postgame, Tang had a throwaway comment about running plays to draw fouls for TP.  I think a decent part of our offensive strategy, at least for the first 6-7 conf games, was all about TP trying to get to the line. That was when he was constantly taking 2-3 dribble drives and immediately backing up into his defender all the time.

What I am getting at is that it seems that FT rate was a primary consideration for a while there and the refs just aren’t having it.  We need more dynamic athletes as ball handlers to increase our FT rate.

The rulebook allows for interpretation when assessing flagrant fouls. This crew chose to ignore intent, that's their prerogative and probably the best thing right now given the scrutiny on Big 12 officiating.
