Currie has been asked - since I left - repeatedly if plans for a basketball facility were in the works, and he would reply each time, emphatically, "no."

I believe that's what Haskin is referring to.

Well, umm . . . in his Nov 19, 2009 online chat, the basketball practice facility and the process of getting there was mentioned several times.

Didn't realize he was being secretive about it? Curious what Haskin meant by it.

I think this one kind of a tongue in cheek, where Currie refuses to confirm something concrete, then goes and propeses the facility and now everyone is talking about it.  More of a "you dumbsh*t, why didn't you tell anyone instead of us having to find out through the regents."

hence his transparency remark

that's just my take.
it's easy to be emaw when EMAW is at your doorstep - FFF
