Eight top 25 teams lost Saturday. And that is not counting two games where both teams playing were ranked in the top 25.
If we lose @ OSU, beat Baylor, and win one B12 game, we will be a 7 seed or better.

Yeah, Im surprised he has us as the last 8 seed.  Its not in the above tweet but he had Iowa as 24 (or worst 6 seed).   I don't get the love for Iowa

* Ksu 10-6 in Big 12. Iowa 9-7 in Big 10.  Both teams 20-9 overall
* Ksu 5-5 vs top 50 rpi teams in Big 12.  Iowa 3-6 vs top 50 teams in Big 10
* Ksu RPI/SOS was 37 and 42.  Iowa is at 45 and 56...... And our non con SOS is 149 while theirs is 247
* Ksu in non con beat Gonz and GW (top 30 wins) and had 1 bad loss, Charlotte (No Col loss wont really hurt cause no Gip).
   Iowa in non con beat Xavier (top 50 win), no bad losses, no other top 100 wins.
* Ksu has 9 top 100 wins while Iowa only has 6.   Kstate only is 2-6 on road while Iowa is 4-5 (both have 3 wins on neutral court)

Being an 8 or 9 is almost not worth even going.  Maybe we should just save the money and not fly everyone to the game.

I really don't think ohio st deserves a 6 seed, but I don't believe Kstate or any of the 7 seeds really deserve it either.   Glad the Buckeyes (0-2) and Hawkeyes (1-2) had a bad week.    We are 10-6 in the #1 rated conference and half of those 10 wins are vs top 50.  No way we should be in the 8 vs 9 game right now

Its just crazy to me that we are even having this discussion (should we be a 7,8, or 9 seed).   When this season started, I (like most of you) felt like we'd be happy to be at least .500 and hopefully pick up a couple wins in the NIT.

This has been a fun team to watch and could/should be very good in the next couple years.  Regardless of seed, I just hope we get a favorable matchup(s) bracket wise that will allow us to win a game or two.

The way I'm seeing it is 5 wins (making us Big 12 tourney champs) gets us a 4 seed, 4 wins and runner up gets us a 5 seed, 3 wins and only 1 loss gets us the 6, 2 wins gets us a 7, 1 win gets us an 8 or 9 and, no wins gets us a 10 or 11.

2000 Michigan St was a 1 seed despite 7 losses.
