No problem Lefty.  We are pure analytics... just by the numbers.

The KSU loss to NCol was indeed a killer that (unfortunately) the committee will not forget.  I would like to see KSU grab a road win in the next two weeks.  They will likely gravitate upward if this occurs, and/or if the other teams in the 7-11 range falter (like OSU and OU currently are).

BTW, not all people at Illinois were unhappy with oscar Weber.  He is a nice man.

Still butthurt about oscar, taking it out on the catz.

I emailed the guy:

Thank you for your email.  I would suggest you look at the BPI and the RPI (two measures the selection committee like to use), which provides some interesting insights into the teams you list.  We also weight road wins very positively, and bad home losses very negatively.  As such, OSU and OU are currently trending downward.  In addition, these numbers are fluid, so they will continue to evolve until Selection Sunday

Thank you again for your interest.

I would Orlando the crap out the tourney if you go to sea world with me down their Wintz.

Like an hour drive from the beach though. If I remember correctly? Correct me if I'm wrong, Winters. Atlantic side if course.
Daytona Beach
We should all be cheering for Orlando at this point.  :Woot:

 :crossfingers:
I love you Winters, but Orlando sounds like the biggest tease in this world.

Me: "Oh, man. Ok you guys! We're in Florida, let's hit up a beach."
Winters: "What are you talking about Fanning? Orlando isn't by the water. There's other stuff tho."
Me: "Wtf? I'm in a major Florida city and there's no beach? I'm out!"
We could do putt-putt by a Beef 'O Brady's

c'mon cats!

I'm down for all this
We got this thing back on track now.

7 UNC              17-7(7-4)       27       13      2-3       3-0         Good wins vs Mich St/Kentucky. Only 1 of 7 ACC wins is tourney team
7 Pitt               20-6(8-5)       31       44       0-5       1-1         Tough loss to Cuse. Stanford is only top 50 win

Anyone know when the statsheet.com tournament seeding predictor starts coming out? That is one of may fave times of the year.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I honestly don't know why Mizzou is safely in. They had one win over UCLA and that's it.

OU would mush Mizzou by 20.

Sign me up for any scenario in which we play a bubble team in Rd 1 and WSU in Rd 2. Cal has 1 win vs the top 40...

Plus, they have a .500 record in one of the worst conferences. SEC will probably only get 3 out of 14 teams in the tournament.

Wow.  Lundardi actually has the same 6,7,8 seeds as me right now.   I knew he would come around.  :gocho:

As far as Mizzou goes.  They are not safely in.   CBS (J Palm) has them as a 10 right now.   That is being kind

If you are in the "Last 4 in" or you are an 11 seed..... then your place is not secure.  I would say Mizzou is in this spot right now.  The only win that could really help their resume from here on out is winning at Tenn.   The other games are ones they are suppose to win and should win.  So if they go 4-2 the last 3 weeks, I think they are right there on the edge or being in or out

Future Schedules could prove beneficial for our seeding. some teams around us could go through a rough stretch:

Gonzaga- finishes season with 4 away games in a row. of course this could vault them higher if they win out
Uconn- hosts SMU and Cinci but finishes at Louisville
Memphis- last 3, hosts Louisville, @ Cinci and hosts SMU
SMU- @ Uconn, hosts Louisville, @ Memphis
VCU- @ UMass and hosts SLU
Umass- hosts VCU and SLU

basically lots of bball to be played. this crap could go anywhere  :runaway: our seeding could be from 6-9
