Southwell is awful. Spradling wasn't any better tonight either.

Southwell just needs to develop a jump shot. If he could shoot he would be pretty lethal offensively. As it is he is a bit of a liability. His defense is generally really good though.

He gave up that wide open 3 in the corner. And his passing, which was supposed to be the best on the team, left me

But between him, Sprad, and Irving, all 3 didn't do anything all night. Not sure what Nick and 95 could do worse.

I wasn't really talking about tonight's game specifically, just his overall play this season. Meh, one game, small sample size.

Frank is probably just trying to lose games this year. No other explaination why 95 doesn't get more PT than those other guys.

Also, Wes, I'm not really trying to defend him. He really does need to improve a lot offensively. Frank must just think his D vs. other's O is a better trade-off.

Seems like frank is finally trying to let players play through ruff patches. Wish some other guys had recieved a few minutes, but at least southwell and spradling received significant minutes when things were not going well for them. Tourney time this will hopefully help them out, spradling still clutch on his free throws.

as long as he's defending, rebounding and passing he'll keep starting. didn't play well offensively tonight even for his low standards.

thought he defended and rebounded just fine.

martin just likes the way an offense looks when you have a wing the defense sags off of.

One game. Also, I think the passing/ playmaking suffers pretty bad from his lack of shooting touch. Teams don't guard him.

Yeah it's one game, that's what's being discussed hence the title "I thought I'd let it slide because of the win..."

His lack of shooting has crap to do with him throwing the ball to a player who is being denied the ball, he had two turnovers, he did it three times, got lucky as hell once.
